(PS- Just so everyone knows... I'm an actual writer of other things. Like I write fantasy and the such... I'm not established or published or anything, but I AM used to harsh critiques. In fact, it's what makes me a better writer, so please, don't hold back what you really think. I won't get hurt, but I will get better.
I don't know if any of you are in theater, but good writing is like theater. You can't produce a great product, a performance or a piece of writing, unless you have an audience reaction. Even if it's as simple as, "I liked the characterization" or, "This doesn't seem realistic, and wouldn't happen in real life". Those kinds of things help, and the more the better.
And I know this isn't just for me either. Any writer who has quality will expect the same thing. It shapes our style. So please, if you read a story, any story, leave feedback for the author, even if it's simple, because it encourages us to write more for you wonderful people!
